The presence of Chromium content in the Alloy Steel Sheets makes them excellent oxidation and improved corrosion resistance in annealed conditions, resistance to many acids like sulphuric, nitric, chloride and chloride stress cracking corrosion as well. These have chromium and molybdenum elements with a small amount of other chemical content giving it better resisting properties and adding its strength, etc. The molybdenum element gives additional tensile strength which increases at the high temperature. Documentation is offered on buyer’s request for assurance of quality of product and supplying only like commercial invoice, fumigation certification, heat treatment chart, quality assurance plan, packaging list, raw material test report, material traceability report.
Test Certificates :
Manufacturer Test Certificate as per EN 10204 / 3.1B, 100% Radiography Test Report, Raw Materials Certificate, Third Party Inspection Report.
Shipping Policy :
Our sales team will notify delivery schedules when quoting to you. Delivery time and delivery dates are based on the quantities and what types of products ordered. Please check with our sales department when placing any orders as on exceptional occasions the delivery schedule may change. Orders may take up to 5-10 business days in transit. If products are out of stock, orders may take up to 2-4 weeks to ship. Champak Industries will inform buyers if this situation occurs.
Marking and Packing :
All products are marked with lot no, size, grade, degree and our trademark. Products are packed to confirm that there is no damage during transit. We assure timely delivery of the product but subject to the availability of the stock. Additionally, to ensure safer shipping products are packaged in Wooden crates/pallets/boxes, Shrink-wrapped and Carton boxes. In case of export orders, standard export packaging is done in wooden cases and on special requests from clients, we can make custom markings on products.

01What are alloy steel sheets, and which grades do you supply?
Alloy steel sheets contain chromium and molybdenum with small amounts of silicon, manganese and aluminium, which gives good oxidation and corrosion resistance. Our range lists ASTM A387 and ASME SA387 sheets, Grade 11, Grade 12 and Grade 22, Class 1 and Class 2, EN 10028-2, and hot rolled (HR) and cold rolled (CR) sheets.

03What is EN 10028-2, and how does it relate to A387?
EN 10028-2 is the European standard for pressure-purpose flat steel products in non-alloy and alloy steels with specified elevated-temperature properties. A387 / SA 387 is the American equivalent family for chromium-molybdenum plate. Grades are comparable but not identical, so check chemistry and mechanical limits against your design code. We can help you match them.
04What is the difference between HR and CR alloy steel sheets?
Hot rolled (HR) sheet is rolled at high temperature and has a scaled or mill finish. Cold rolled (CR) sheet is rolled further at room temperature and gives tighter thickness tolerance and a smoother surface. Tell us the thickness, finish and tolerance you need and we will advise which suits.

Yes. We supply alloy steel sheets in customised sizes, grades and in numerous dimensions. Send us the thickness × width × length, grade and quantity, and tell us if you need the plate cut to a drawing. Cutting is done through our plasma cutting and wear plate cutting services.
06Which certificates and test reports are supplied with Alloy Steel Sheets?
We supply a manufacturer test certificate as per EN 10204 / 3.1B, a 100% radiography test report, a raw materials certificate and a third party inspection report. On the buyer’s request we also provide documentation such as the commercial invoice, fumigation certificate, heat treatment chart, quality assurance plan, packing list, raw material test report and material traceability report.
07What is the delivery time for Alloy Steel Sheets?
We give the delivery schedule when we quote, because it depends on the quantity and type of product ordered. Orders may take up to 5–10 business days in transit. If a product is out of stock, orders may take up to 2–4 weeks to ship, and we will tell you if this happens.
08How are Alloy Steel Sheets packed and exported?
All products are marked with lot number, size, grade, degree and our trademark. They are packed so that there is no damage in transit, in wooden crates, pallets or boxes, shrink-wrapped, or in carton boxes. Export orders use standard export packaging in wooden cases, with custom markings on request.
