About Champak Industries
Champak Industries — a CSEC Group company — has been a stockist, importer, exporter and dealer of special steel plates since 1978.
From our office on S.V.P. Road, Mumbai, we supply alloy, nickel, wear-resistant, high tensile and marine plates to the machinery, engineering and process industries. Plate is held in stock, cut to size in-house and dispatched with its mill test certificate — to sites across India and to buyers overseas.

Send a drawing or a cutting list. We nest it, cut it from certified plate and mark each part with its heat number.

We stock twelve plate families: alloy steel (EN19 / 42CrMo4, EN24), high nickel alloys (Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy), abrasion resistant (Hardox® 400 / 450 / 500), high tensile (S690QL), manganese (Hadfield), ballistic armour, C45 / EN8, ship building (Lloyd's Grade A / AH36), aluminium, Corten, stainless & duplex, and boiler quality (ASTM A516) plates. Depending on the grade, plates are stocked from about 0.5 mm up to 300 mm thick, in standard mill sizes such as 2000 × 6000 mm and 2500 × 6000 mm. Each product card above shows its thickness range. For other sizes, we cut plate to your dimensions.
Yes. We offer plasma cutting, wear plate cutting, wear plate liners, and wear classifier & blade cutting. Send a drawing or cutting list and we'll profile the parts from certified plate, with the heat number marked on each piece. See cutting services.
Yes. Every lot is supplied with the original mill test certificate to EN 10204 3.1, showing chemical composition and mechanical properties for the heat. A 3.2 certificate with third-party witnessing can be arranged when your specification requires it.
Yes. Plates can be inspected before dispatch by agencies such as TÜV, DNV, Bureau Veritas, SGS, Lloyd's Register and EIL. Additional tests — ultrasonic, Charpy impact, PMI, hardness and tensile — are available on request.
Yes. Many specifications have equivalents across standards — for example EN19 is equivalent to 42CrMo4 (DIN 1.7225) and SAE 4140. Tell us the grade on your drawing and we'll offer the matching material, with the certificate to prove it.
Ready-stock sizes are usually dispatched within 24–48 hours of order confirmation. Cut-to-size work, third-party inspection and export packing add time — we'll confirm the delivery date with your quote.
Yes. We export to buyers in 40+ countries, shipping by sea from Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mumbai, with air freight for urgent orders. Plates are packed and documented for export. See typical transit times.
