DSQ (dead soft quality) plate is a very low-carbon steel with high formability. It is widely used for galvanizing kettles, where low silicon and carbon reduce attack by molten zinc.

TISCRAL and SAILHARD suit liners and moderate wear. For heavier abrasion choose quenched AR plate from our Abrasion Resistant Plates page, and for heavy impact, manganese steel.
